Our Life Groups are about connection, care and discipleship. HCF's Life Groups are great to create room for leadership development, increase our ability to reach and grow, strengthen our care, and deepen our life through teaching from the Bible. Our Life Groups are held at HCF on a Wednesday evening between 7:30pm and 9pm. There's also coffee available which is a good thing!

There are three Life Group seasons every year:

New Year season (Feb to March)

Spring season      (May to June)

Autumn season    (Sept to Oct)

There are various "streams" that you can attend in our Life Groups. They are:

Discipleship:       Core discipleship, sharing your faith

Connect Groups: 21st Century Marriage, CAP money management

Ministry:             Discover your gifts

Our Autumn season of Life Groups will be starting up in September and will include Alpha, CAP money management, Love life-Live healthy and Route 66 (Bible study). Please watch this space for more details.

Embrace provides the opportunity for women to get together and share their experiences of life and God.

We usually meet every other month on a Wednesday evening in an informal atmosphere where we take time to look at different topics/ books from the Bible and how they relate to our lives and relationships. We also pray and encourage one another. As women we all have lots to say (!!) and the evening is filled with lots of chat and catching up and great cakes and supper. All ladies welcome.

As men we are not meant to live in isolation. Our regular men's event is called 'Significance' and it is where men can meet together in an informal setting and enjoy a time to laugh, anda time to receive challenging teaching from God’s word.

We meet together every other month at various locations throughout Horwich, please check calendar for more details.

Kidzone is a weekly event, on Friday nights (during term time) from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, for children in the local community of Horwich.

We aim to demonstrate God’s love to the children whilst they laugh, have tons of fun and learn about Jesus. During the night we play games, hear bible stories, dance and generally have a good time.

Kidzone is for children in Junior School (aged 5 – 11 years old) and entrance is 50p.

All volunteers working directly with children/young people are CRB checked and undergo regular training.

Kidzone KNX  has a motto: Love God, Love Church, Love Others.

The kids are part of the main church service and leave to go into their age specific groups from 11am - 12noon. There are 4 groups (pre-school/KS1 & KS2) where everyone takes part in lively and exciting worship and learns to understand more about Jesus through lessons and activities that follow the teaching in the main service.

All volunteers working directly with children/young people are CRB checked and undergo regular training.
